Jane Oppegaard and I will be teaching the weekly class, where we'll be alternating each week. No need to book and free parking available. A head cover must be worn inside to respect the space we practice in, can include a beanie, headscarf, bandana etc - whatever you feel best in.
What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga (aka chakra yoga / divine feminine yoga) is known as the yoga of awareness. It combines the 8 limbs of Patanjali's yoga philosophy including breath work (pranayama), movement (asana), sound (naad yoga) and meditation.
It derives from the Sanskrit word kundal, which translates to “coiled energy.” The idea is that we all have energy gathered at the base of our spine and, through the practice of Kundalini, we bring that energy up our spine to balance the 7 chakras and beyond.
Benefits include: Can help to lower blood pressure, increase lung capacity, enhances memory and focus, relaxing and can improve digestion and mood.
