A LITTLEÂ ABOUT ME
My yoga journey began in 2001, where from experiencing my first class, I instantly felt the benefits and wanted to know more. Over the years I have enjoyed expanding my knowledge and digging deeper into the '8 Limbs' and the philosophy involved with the ancient practice.
I was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease in 2011 after an accident accelerated the age of my spine, and I’d been searching for something to ease the chronic pain and to help alleviate the symptoms of depression at the time. I soon found that regular yoga classes really worked for me and invigorated my mind, body and spirit.
Fast forward many years and I am now a 220+ hours, insured Yoga Teacher for adults, teens and children. I'm also a qualified Gong Practitioner (Level 1 & 2), so that I can hold sound baths safely.
I recognise the importance of continually learning, improving and educating myself about the disciplines that I teach and being respectful of the cultures that they originated from. I believe that yoga is a way of life and a never-ending path of self-discovery and growth. I value each and every person who joins my classes and workshops, where I look forward to meeting you.
